Fruity Bran Purée

A couple of spoonfuls of this combination may help promote regularity. Spread on toast or stir into hot cereal or yogurt. The mixture will keep for up to one week when covered and refrigerated.

  • 1/2 cup applesauce
  • 1/2 cup stewed prunes, pits removed
  • 1/2 cup wheat bran flakes


  1. In a blender, combine the applesauce, prunes, and bran flakes and blend until smooth.
