Herb Focaccia Bread

Herb Focaccia Bread

A perfect companion to our Tuscan Tortellini Soup.

Serves: 6


  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil, divided
  • 1 can Pillsbury Pizza Dough, thin crust
  • 2 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • 2 Plum Tomatoes, sliced thin
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper
  • Optional: Grated mozzarella or Parmesan Cheese


  1. Prepare pizza dough on sheet as directed.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the Italian seasoning and olive oil. Brush the seasoned oil all over the top of the dough, make sure to reserve about 2 tsp of the oil. Using your fingers punch dimples about halfway down onto the dough, bake for about 8 minutes.
  3. Remove the bread from the oven, top with tomato slices, sprinkle with Salt and pepper and brush the remaining of olive oil. Return to the oven and bake about 15 minutes. The last few minutes, you can choose to sprinkle fresh grated mozzarella or parmesan cheese on top.
